Geometric Portraits

Hello to everyone who is reading. We will be talking about facial expressions and our new project. In the universe facial expressions could be the same, or not. I think that in other places facial expressions are different. Like if you are happy and your talking to a local over there. Maybe over there happy face means that you like them. Another example is hand signals they are different so maybe facial expressions are different to.

To create this project there are many steps. 1. take a picture of something usually a persons face or maybe an animal 2. once you have this project on Photo Shop you go to the line tool what is found in the rectangle tool and have it in 5px and in color red. 3. once you have that you draw a line right down the middle so it is symmetrical. 4. you outline the face of the person or the animal. 5. after that you break down the face; there outline, mouth, eye, hair, nose, and face. 6. Now you start to add triangles in those areas. If it is smaller more detailed areas the triangles become smaller.

If I had to choose which poly is better from poly-1 and poly-2 I would say my poly-1 is better. First of all the poly-2 has small gaps between the triangles. The poly-1 took more time and was a little bit complicated because I wasn't use to it but, once I got the hand of it, it became easy. What I like about the poly-2 is that it took less steps but it got hard finding the correct color and the correct size. If you look at the poly-1 and the poly-2 the poly-1 has the correct size triangles. Something they both have in common is that they have the right size color and not weird bizarre colors in weird spots.
